I am the founder and publisher of Work & Residence. I created the publication to make complex permit and residence procedures easier to navigate through clearer explanations, careful source selection and practical routes to the responsible authority.

My professional background is rooted in immigration administration, cross-border mobility and the practical interpretation of administrative procedures. I have worked with processes in which the correct route depends on the country, responsible authority, stage and documents involved.
That experience shapes how I publish Work & Residence. I focus on identifying the exact question, separating the roles of different public bodies, checking the current responsible source and explaining the next useful step without presenting general information as a decision on an individual case.

Immigration information is often distributed across national authorities, regional bodies, submission portals, municipalities and diplomatic posts. The difficulty is not always the absence of information. It is knowing which source owns the question and whether two pages describe the same stage.
I created Work & Residence to organise that information around the decisions readers actually need to make: which route to investigate, which authority is responsible, what a process stage means and where the current official instruction can be verified.
Working across several languages
I work in Dutch, Turkish, English, French and German, and I also have working knowledge of Spanish. This helps me compare official terminology across languages and recognise where translated permit names, authority labels or procedural wording may change how an instruction is understood.
