One clear page explains how Work & Residence researches official information, writes guidance, records updates and handles corrections.
Research process
Each guide begins with a specific administrative question. We identify the country, relevant jurisdiction, process stage and public body responsible for that part of the procedure before drafting the explanation.
Where regional, federal, municipal, consular or portal responsibilities differ, those roles are kept separate rather than merged into one simplified answer.
Source selection
Current official sources are preferred for procedural, authority, form, document and deadline claims. The responsible regional or community source is used for the work-authorisation side, while the appropriate federal, municipal, consular or portal source is used for the stage it owns.
Private summaries may help identify terminology or a possible issue, but they do not replace the current responsible official source.
Writing and editorial review
Guidance is written to answer the stated question directly, explain important distinctions and show where individual confirmation is still required. Pages are reviewed for clarity, source fit, unsupported conclusions and misleading certainty before publication.

Dates and updates
Publication, modification and verification dates have different meanings. A last-verified date is shown only after the relevant sources have actually been checked. It is not a guarantee that no later change has occurred.
Review frequency depends on how often the procedure can change and the consequences of outdated information. Material source, authority, portal or procedural changes can trigger an earlier review.
Corrections
Readers can report a factual error, broken official source, outdated instruction or unclear authority route through the contact page. Useful reports include the page URL, the exact passage and the current official source.
Material corrections are made when an error could change the answer, responsible authority, required action or interpretation of a process stage. Minor wording changes may be corrected without a separate notice.
Editorial independence
Work & Residence is an independent publication and is not operated by a government authority. Commercial relationships, if introduced later, must be labelled and must not determine factual conclusions, official-source selection or the route presented to readers.
